The Prospecting Bear (1941)

The cartoon opens up with Barney Bear on the Grand Canyon with his possessed bag walking by itself. Barney check everywhere that's a good spot. Don't worry, the possessed bag is just Barney's sidekick, Benny Burro. The bag gets stuck between two limbs and Barney's irritation from the first 2 minutes. Barney then notices a few gold nuggets. 14 Carrot Gold to be exact. Get it? Hey, it's a visual gag, what would you expect? Barney sticks his head in a cave with SO MANY GOLD CARROTS! Nobody likes prospecting humor anymore? Barney gets out his pickaxe and gives him a hard time from 3:00-4:33. A new cartoon record! Benny Burro is munching on dynamite (Probably thinking they're carrots.) which makes Barney use the dynamite. It obviously backfires and Barney throws the match in the dynamite box. Where's Smokey when you need him? Wait! Smokey's a bear! Barney's a bear! What?! The box, of course, blows up in Barney's face. Benny sniffs the TNT Powdered Cocaine (ONLY 95 ¢) and Barney takes it away. Barney puts it over his shoulder and some falls in. He lights a match and the string goes in his pants causing it to explode. Barney's angry now and gets all the explosives while Benny's eaten a whole new box of dynamite. Barney kicks Benny and go inside the cave and then... the both are on a skinny cliff left. 

Abdul the Bulbul-Ameer (1941)

Hmmm. A banned cartoon. Let's takes a look! The narrator tells us a tale of Abdul the Bulbul-Ameer (PLEASE DO NOT HISS AT THE CRIMINAL!) Now the narrator introduces us too Ivan Scavinsky Scavar (PLEASE DO NOT ROOT FOR THE HERO!) Ivan and his little slave goes down town to confront Abdul. 

Ivan's stooge: What's the matter with you? You're blocking traffic!

I'm starting to think he's being annoying on purpose. So Abdul uses his toe to push Ivan's stooge away. Where Ivan trotted on the toe of Abdul the Bulbul-Ameer. Ivan stepped on it so hard, Abdul's toes are out his shoes. So for payback, Abdul stretches Ivan's nose and lets go. Ivan then puffs smoke in Abdul's face. Ivan makes a line and the both sword fight. By playing tick-tack-toe. Abdul throws his sword at Ivan but ducks. So instead, they fist fight. And by one word, EVERYONE  goes to the arena. So Groucho, Harpo, and Chico Marx are the newsreel people. So Ivan's turd-er-stooge introduces the both and begin to fight. While Groucho continues to say up and down, Ivan isn't being a very sporting fighter. Ivan's shi-er-stooge rings the bell and Ivan twirls on his feet while punching Abdul at the back of his head. Ivan twirls on his hands and kicks Abdul in the face. Ivan twirls Abdul while slapping him. Ivan twirls again and Abdul gets a good whack at him. Ivan, sadly, wakes and bops Abdul. The both then beat up each other and it's SO captivating that the Marx Brothers get into the fight and Groucho gets bopped. Ivan's crap-er-stooge sticks a bomb in Abdul's pants then blows up. WHAT?! THE WHOLE ARENA BLEW UP??? WHAT BOMB WAS THAT, A NUCLEAR BOMB!!? The Marx Brothers of course follow and both fall into ice and are frozen.

Home on the Range (1940)

The cartoon opens on a range with all cows sleep. One curious calf notices a jackrabbit and follows it. The calf goes to follow the rabbit but an about 0.5 seconds the rabbit has hopped away! Do you think this is satire? The rabbit then hops in a bush with quails inside. The calf then bellyflops in the bush made of quails apparently. The rabbit is found under the calf's hide and hops away. Of course, the calf chases him. The calf has lost the rabbit and gets startled by an owl. While that happened the calf is met by a wolf. The wolf has got the calf stuck in a hole. The jackrabbit decides to get the calf's mother. A porcupine comes and pokes the wolf in the hide. The calf escapes and the wolf is scared of being charged by the mother. So the song Home on the Range is played and that's the end!



                                                     

Puss Gets the Boot (1940)

The cartoon opens with a cat named Jasper messing with a little mouse.  Jasper then lands in front of the mouse and runs in Jasper's mouth. The mouse then quickly runs out. Jasper teases the mouse some more and paints a fake mouse hole. The mouse runs into the wall five times and, supposedly, gets a concussion. The mouse wakes up and looks for Jasper.The mouse is too afraid to look so he pokes Jasper in the eye. Jasper finally has a reason to chase the mouse and runs into a pillar and a flower pot. The owner then smacks Jasper with a broom and warns Jasper if one more thing is broken he has to sleep outside. Jasper then runs off and bumps into a table with a vase on top. The vase falls, but Jasper catches it. The mouse laughs at him and Jasper then comes chasing him on the table. The mouse threatens to drop a drinking cup and Jasper remembers what the owner said. Jasper then walks away and the mouse puts down the cup. Jasper chases the mouse again and once again, the mouse threatens Jasper. Jasper walks away and the mouse drops the cup anyway so Jasper can catch it. Instead of only the cup, the mouse drops the whole set! Jasper has finally had enough and decided to put pillows all over the floor. Jasper pops up in front of the mouse and is worried about nothing when the mouse threatens Jasper and eventually drops the cup. The mouse notices that the cup didn't break and him and Jasper look down at the ground. The mouse then tries to  run away, but Jasper caught his tail. The mouse then says a quick prayer. *put audio track here*. Jasper lets go of the mouse's tail and catches the mouse with his tail (what's the point?) and throws him up in the air. The mouse then grabs a glass plate that lands on Jasper. The mouse tips over all of the glass plates on the shelf for Jasper to catch. After each plate is caught (counting about 20) the mouse then throws a coffee cup on the ground. The owner runs down the stairs and the mouse messes with Jasper until the last step, the mouse kicks Jasper and the dishes break. The mouse runs toward to the mouse hole. The owner then goes and kicks out Jasper.


                                                    

The Fishing Bear (1940)

The cartoon opens majestically to a nearby lake. Multiple fish then wakes up jumping around. Maybe they're flying fish. Barney Bear then rustles from the bushes with fishing equipment and notices the fish are finally out. Barney then goes to the fishing spot and gets out fish bait. Trouties: A Tempting Treat for timid trout. Approved by Boy Trouts of America. A very sporting gag...relating to fish! Barney tries out the bait and multiple fish come flying out eating the bait. A fish swims over and reads the back of the box. Do You Want To Be A Junior G-Trout? The fish then mimics a machine gun. Barney then teases a fish twice. The third time, multiple fish try to get the bait. Barney smacks his lips in pleasure. He imagines the fish in a giant frying pan. Just as Barney is about to throw in the bait, a duck comes flying in the scene. The fish then come back and Barney throws the bait. But the duck starts to act like a dog and retrieves back the bait and gives it back to an irritated Barney Bear. What are you laughing at, ducks actually act like dogs. Barney then throws the Trouties box at the duck and misses. The fish then eat the Trouties while the same fish takes the box. Barney then goes after the fish and hits his head on a tall piece of land in the water. Barney chases the fish but realizes that he's on water and falls in. The duck thinks that Barney is dead but the bear pops up from the water with the box. Barney pours out the water in the box and the fish comes out. The duck goes after the fish but the fish mimics the machine gun again and scares the duck. The duck then looks underwater and finds the fish. Barney comes out of the water and catches the fish. Unfortunately, the duck pops from underwater and on the bottom end of the net. The fish lands in Barney's fishing equipment and is seen in a boot. The duck chases the fish in a dark crack underwater. Barney then throws the bait to where the fish is. Instead, an electric eel gets the bait. The eel eats the bait and Electrocuted Barney and the duck. Barney and the duck are then seen underwater.
